We'd like to use a consistent checksum scheme everywhere so that we can:
a) incorporate archive checksums into our specs and have a
consistent hashing algorithm across all specs.
b) index mirrors with a consistent type of checksum, and not one that
is dependent on how spack packages are written.
- [x] convert existing md5, sha224, sha512, sha1 checksums to sha256
- Fix trailing whitespace missed by the bug described in #12755.
- Fix other style issues that have crept in over time (this can happen
when flake8 adds new checks with new versions)
- remove the old LGPL license headers from all files in Spack
- add SPDX headers to all files
- core and most packages are (Apache-2.0 OR MIT)
- a very small number of remaining packages are LGPL-2.1-only
* Fix digest for abyss@1.5.2
The digest value for v1.5.2 appears to have changed. This value works
for me, today.
The existing value v2.0.2 works as is.
* Use "download" URL for ABYSS
Following the suggestion of the project team, switch to using the
release tarballs from the "download" URL instead of the automagically
generated ones at the "archive" URL.
